What started as a collaboration in a UTEP classroom has grown into El Paso's trusted technology partner. Founding
Bright Sol Tech (BST) originated in 2011, in a UTEP classroom, a collaboration between Professor Amit Ghosh and student Robert Arellano. It was established to foster local talent and provide local businesses with custom websites.
2014
Expansion
BST expanded its service offerings to include custom application development by doing full-stack development platforms like Ruby, Python, PHP, and Javascript. The company began to cater to diverse client needs across various industries making custom applications.
2016
Collaboration
BST slowly became a credible and trusted technology provider to the El Paso community. The company began collaborating with UTEP, EPCC, El Paso Community Foundation, and The City of El Paso.

2020
Diversification
Bright Sol Tech reached a significant milestone when it began working with national brands such as Webex and Zoom. This diversification broadened the company’s portfolio but also enhanced its expertise in serving large-scale, high-profile projects.

2021
Rebranding
As part of its 10th Anniversary milestone, the company underwent a rebranding process and transitioned from BST El Paso to Bright Sol Tech. This rebranding expanded its vision to serve a diverse clientele located geographically and also in different industries while serving its El Paso roots.
2023
Initiative
Bright Sol Tech launched a significant initiative in partnership with significant initiative with the City of El Paso's Eco Dev and Pioneers 21. The project aimed to increase the digital presence of small businesses in the region helping them leverage online platforms to grow their operations and reach new customers. This initiative reinforced the company’s commitment to supporting local entrepreneurship and economic development.

Anniversary
Bright Sol Tech celebrated its 14th anniversary this year. It originated from a UTEP classroom idea morphing to a reputable tech firm in El Paso.
